• Just in time for Christmas …

By the Edge of the Sword, the seventh in my series of medieval murder mysteries, is now available to buy in paperback and as an e-book. It’s set at Christmas 1218, so a nice seasonal read!

  • New medieval mystery!

I’m excited to share the news that my new medieval mystery, ‘By the Edge of the Sword’ (no. 7 in the Edwin Weaver series) will be published in October 2021. It’s set at Christmas, so the cover has a chilly winter feel about it. It’s available to pre-order now from your favourite bookshop.

  • Gloucester History Festival 2020

All the Blackfriars talks are FREE. The full programme…

  • Cast the First Stone

Well, there was a slight Covid-related delay, but I’m now pleased to say that – thanks to the hard work of the team at the History Press – my new book, Cast the First Stone, has been published. It’s November 1217 and we meet up with Edwin again following his return home from the war. He is reunited with his wife, Alys, and hoping that life is going to be more peaceful from now on. Unfortunately, this does not turn out to be the case … Cast the First Stone is available from online bookshops (and physical ones as they re-open!). Further details are on the publisher website.
